What to Expect at Tryouts
- Check in and warm up with your group
- Coaches evaluate technical ability, decision-making, athleticism, and coachability
- Players are assessed in small-sided play and game-like environments
- Our goal is to place each player in the best setting for development
What to bring
- Ball, water, shin guards, cleats/turf shoes (as appropriate)
- Goalkeepers: gloves (if applicable)
After You Register
- You’ll receive confirmation and scheduling details
- Coaches will communicate placement guidance when evaluations conclude
- If additional sessions are recommended, we’ll let you know

Tryouts/ID sessions are the primary evaluation method. If you have a special circumstance, email us.
What ages can try out?
U7–U19 for boys and girls.
Which leagues do you offer?
ECNL RL North East, Mid Atlantic NPL, and EDP (placement dependent).
I’m currently an ECNL RL player at another club—what should I do?
Register and our ECNL RL coach will contact you regarding practice days; invitations for current ECNL RL players from other clubs begin after May 1, 2026.
Where are tryouts held?
Sparta, NJ and select sessions in Hackettstown/Warren Hills.
